Windows flicker from the array of flat screen placation devices, or better known as the telly, the tube, or the idiot box.  The night hums with visual transmission.  And we, on mass, sit and absorb the sweet anesthetic. I do love a good dulling of the brain; kick that mind chatting crap to the curb, so I can wriggle on down into my nice, comfy, lusciously padded meat suit. The problem is… Tomorrow.  This baby just keeps throwing the brain right back. Soon as the lids open, she's waiting… singing, crying, fretting, whatever – she'll be scripting the most compelling and mesmerizing movie to keep you hooked.

So as a selfological experiment, I decide to sit back and become an audience to my mind movie.  My bottom greets the leathery mounds of a lovely olive green chesterfield chair; I close the portals to the world (eyes) and turn on the mind box.  ‘Hmmm, not much on… flick … daily chores… flick… food… flick… hair needs cutting… flick… I wonder how big the biggest sheep in the world is… flick… STOP!  Drama on channel Brain Drain, a theatrical marvel!

The mind absolutely adores a good drama, keeps you enthralled right from the beginning; then you feel the pain of the Brain Drain.  An episode of such quality will get plenty of airtime too; you know the kind - repeat after repeat, could potentially run for a lifetime.  And suppose this episode stopped you from making anything new, stopped you from directing an inspirational masterpiece, that potentially could effect change for yourself and perhaps others.

So anyway, I'm searching for my remote to see what channels I've got and maybe, just maybe… I could connect to sky…
